Coop WU strive forward Inbound Mobility

Inbound Camp

In Academic year 2024 Walailak University (WU) by the Center for Cooperative Education and Career Development received 23 International cooperative education students from ASEAN countries;  3 student Universitas 17 Agustus 1945 Surabaya (UNTAG Surabaya), Indonesia, 1 student from University Teknologi MARA, Malaysia, 12 students from, UNIVERSITAS MATARAM, Indonesia and 8 students from Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta, Indonesia. The students were placed to learn and work at different schools such as School of Education and Liberal Arts, School of Political Science and Public Administration, the Center for Cooperative Education and Career Development, and the Center for International Affairs, some of those were place in hotel under cooperative education collaboration framework.

The Center for Cooperative Education and Career Development, Walailak University play a major role to strive forward Coop framework for both WU students and international students around the globe. Being cooperative education student or internship student at Walailak University, students obtained experience not only in academic but also Thai culture and beyond. Mentioned experience for example on Sunday, 4 August 2024, Center for Cooperative Education and Career Development had organized “the Coop International Camp for Inbound and Outbound Students 2024”, a one day camp were joined by 10 Walailak University students and 12 students from UNIVERSITAS MATARAM , Indonesia. The camp emphasized on English at your workplace and Global Culture: Do and don’t in oversea, Presentation skill and Thai Food and Thai Classical Dance Practice. The camp was highly satisfying by participants in the score of 4.88 out of 5.  Moreover, the Center for Cooperative Education and Career Development (COOP), in collaboration with the School of Political Science and Public Administration (PPA) and the School of Education and Liberal Arts (SELA), organized a welcome and orientation program for inbound students from Indonesia as part of their internship at WU.
