On Wednesday, October 25th, 2024 the Centre for Cooperative Studies and Career Development, Walailak University in collaboration with Krung Thai Bank PCL organized Krung Thai Rak Smart University project., aims to provide financial knowledge to students entering the workforce. Basic financial knowledge will be an important component of developing financial immunity, allowing students to manage their own finances, prevent debt-related problems, be self-sufficient, and maintain a high quality of life.

The activity was separated into two sessions:
1. Special lecture by Mr Watsawan Niyomsujarit, AVP Government Business Government Relations Sector 2, Krung Thai Bank PCL on Wednesday, October 25th, 2024 from 00 to 12.00 p.m. at the conference hall of the Thai Buri Building, entitled “Happy Money”. for 1,200 students. The students learnt about financial management tips and savings, monthly financial management techniques, financial planning, financial ratio, debt relief, and the proper use of credit and debit cards.

2. A 10-hour long-term activity to encourage the savings behavior with the inaugural event on Wednesday, October 25th, 2024 from 13.00 to 15.00 p.m. at the meeting room of the Center for Cooperative Education and Career Development, 15 students attended the event.

On this occasion, the university’s executive, Dr. Attanan Tachopisalwong, the director of the Center for Cooperative Education and Career Development, conveyed his welcome speech to the delegators of Krung Thai Bank PCL and Khun Patiphon Thepthong, Regional Office Manager, Nakhon Si Thammarat 1, introduced the project.
