The International COOP Camp 2022’s program is aimed to equip the students with skills easing their transition and living abroad, so camp activities were mostly practice-based divided into three session conducted by three invited experts. The morning workshop focusing on use of English needed in international traveling, immigration procedures and hometown tourism was led by Ms. Nootchanat Sukkaew, International Cooperative Alumni, Walailak University. The afternoon session leant toward cultural ambassador purpose through participation in two classes, Thai dancing led by Mr. Surin Jittawong, Thai dance mentor and Scientist from WU Botanic Park, and Thai food cooking class led by the Center for Cooperative Education and Career Development team.
Ms. Sanghatai Khabklomsong, International Cooperative program coordinator, said that out of a total of 17 students joining the camp, over 10 students have confirmed their offers and will soon be interning in five different countries including Sweden, the United States, Indonesia, Malaysia and Vietnam.
