“Preparing for Success” Equips Students for Cooperative Education and the Professional World
On 15 July 2026, the Center for Cooperative Education and Career Development organized a seminar entitled “Preparing for Success: Preparing Students for Cooperative Education and the Professional World” at the Thaiburi Building.
The seminar featured three distinguished speakers: Assistant Professor Dr. Pawarut Puangsri, M.D., from the School of Medicine; Ms. Chujai Chuaychu; and Mr. Chatchapon Yingdamnoon from the Center for Student Support and Development.
The speakers shared valuable knowledge and practical guidance with students preparing to undertake cooperative education placements. The seminar covered essential skills for entering the workplace, including appropriate attire and professional appearance, social etiquette and workplace conduct, effective communication and teamwork, as well as physical and mental preparation for adapting to a professional environment. These skills will help students make a positive first impression and perform professionally during their placements.
The seminar was a part of Walailak University’s ongoing efforts to prepare students before they begin their cooperative education placements. The University strongly emphasizes on developing essential professional skills alongside academic knowledge.
Throughout the seminar, students demonstrated great interest and actively participated in the activities. Their enthusiastic engagement reflected the University’s commitment to producing graduates who possess not only academic knowledge and professional capabilities but also the confidence and professional qualities required in real-world workplaces. This preparation will benefit both the students and the organizations that welcome them for cooperative education placements.
