On May 29, 2025, Dr. Attanan Techophisanwong, Director of the Cooperative Education and Career Development Center at Walailak University, announced that the University, as part of the Upper Southern Thailand CWIE Network, had submitted student representatives to compete at the national level. The competition took place at the 15th National CWIE Day, organized by the Office of the Permanent Secretary(OPS), Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research, and Innovation (MHESI), from May 13–15, 2025, in Chiang Mai.

National Award for Outstanding Cooperative and Work-Integrated Education 2025:

1. Mr. Panithi Wetphitak, a student from the Chemical Engineering Program, School of Engineering and Technology, won 2nd Runner-up (Outstanding Innovation Project) for his cooperative education placement at Allnex (Thailand) Co., Ltd.
2. Innovation Technology Co., Ltd. received the National Outstanding Cooperative Education Employer Award in the Medium Enterprise category.

Walailak University’s Cooperative Education and Career Development Center, representing the Upper Southern Thailand CWIE Network, congratulates all awardees. The winners will be formally presented with their awards by the Minister of Higher Education, Science, Research, and Innovation at the 15th CWIE Day Ceremony, held at the Chiang Mai Marriott Hotel.
