Delegation from the Faculty of Political Science and Public Administration, Chiang Mai University, Visits Walailak University for a Study Tour on Cooperative Education

On May 1, 2025, Assistant Professor Padungsak Suksa-Ard, Vice President of Walailak University, together with Dr. Attanan Tachopisalwong, Director of the Center for Cooperative Education and Career Development, and staff members, warmly welcomed a delegation of 13 administrators and staff from the Faculty of Political Science and Public Administration, Chiang Mai University. The delegation was led by Associate Professor Dr. Pojjana Pichitpaja, Associate Dean for Academic Affairs, on the occasion of their study visit on “Cooperative Education Operations, Teaching and Learning Support Systems, and the enhancement of student polident.”

The delegation also visited the School of Political Science and Public Administration, Walailak University, where they were welcomed by Acting Dean, Associate Professor Dr.Neeranat Kaewprasert Rakangthong, along with administrators, lecturers, and staff. Both parties held discussions and exchanged experiences on undergraduate admissions, co-curricular activities for undergraduate and graduate students, scholarship allocation, and graduate-level academic management and examinations.

On the second day, the delegation continued their study tour at the Division of Student Promotion and Development, where they were received by Associate Professor Dr. Urai Jareepraporn, Vice President of Walailak University, together with Assistant Professor Dr. Arthit Boonrodchoo, Assistant to the President and Acting Head of the Division, as well as staff members. Information was shared regarding the use of university facilities for student activities, the management of co-curricular activities, the student work-hour recording system, scholarship types and criteria, and funding opportunities.

The study visit concluded with a campus tour highlighting Walailak University’s unique features, including the Walailak Arboretum, Tum Pang Archaeological Site, the scenic Walailak Botanic Garden, the Bota Sky Tower, and the Wildlife Breeding Center.
